The formula for the volume of a sphere is V = (4/3)*pi*r^3.  Since r = 12 units here, the volume of this sphere is

V = (4/3)(pi)(12 units)^3 = 2304*pi cubic units

In order to find volume of a sphere, we use the formula V = ⁴⁄₃πr³.

Then, we plug in our numbers:

V = ⁴⁄₃π12³
V = 2304π units³, so your answer will be D.

Hope that helps!
