9 > 5(6) + 1
9 > 30 + 1
9 > 31  (False)

No, (6,9) is not a solution for y > 5x + 1

y > 5x + 1 (6,9)

You plug 9 in for y and 6 for x

9 > 5(6) + 1

9 > 30 + 1

9 > 31

No that is not the solution because 9 is not greater than 31
