.125 is the same as 125/1000. That can be reduced to 1/8. 2 can be put into a fraction just like this: 2/1.
So now you just multiply straight across 2 x 1
/ /
1 x 8

That equals: 2/8 which is simplified to 1/4


1/4 is your final answer
